USDC News - Swiss
crypto custody firm Taurus has launched a zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) privacy solution for stablecoins, starting with Circle's USDC. Built on Aztec Network, the system encrypts transaction details while maintaining regulatory visibility—a key development for institutional adoption. This innovation arrives as stablecoins surpass $250 billion in market cap, reflecting 1,200% growth since 2020. Recent U.S. Senate legislation has further validated the asset class, creating opportunities for privacy enhancements tailored to financial institutions. Taurus had previously implemented similar ZKP technology for security tokens earlier this year. The open-source framework now extends privacy protections to both cash and security components of digital asset transactions, potentially transforming compliance standards.
